The techs at the store on Van Winkle Expwy know the -proper- way to lift a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van with floor jacks (VERY important, and not commonly known). They always lift my van under the leaf-spring perches in the rear, and under the vertical bolts of the lower spring plates/front suspension subframes. They rotate all five tires for me (including the spare) in less than 50 minutes, and fill the tires to the exact pressures, as well as torque the lug bolts to the proper settings (I check afterwards). I will definitely go to this particular Discount Tire store when it's time for me to replace my BFG T/A KO3's.

Rachael and other staff were patient in answering all my questions, helped to explain optimal tire care, and found the exact tire I needed AND wanted. As I was waiting for my tire replacement to finish, I saw a staff member check in an elderly gentleman who had a tire with a leak, which turned out to be a screw. The customer ask about payment but was turned down as this is a service Discount provides. I understand that other tire shops do the same but there was an extra kindness about the interaction.

We are so thankful for discount tires! Not only do they have the best deals but they’re always so kind and helpful! We loved that they cared for us AND our kiddos. This will always be our go to place.

I honestly didn’t expect much when I made an appointment for my flat tire. I figured I’d be stuck waiting a decent amount of time and leaving with a dent in my wallet. I was completely wrong on both counts. The guys here were genuinely friendly from the moment I walked in. They were chill and easy to talk to. Issac assisted me and he was especially helpful and kind. They got my tire taken care of faster than I expected, and while I was waiting they actually checked in to make sure I was doing okay. Little thing, but it mattered. Great work on the car and great people doing it! That combo is harder to find than it should be. Will definitely be back.

1700 miles after Discount Tire balanced and rotated my tires I was driving down I15 and suddenly the car started to shake violently. I was able to get the car across 5 lanes of traffic to the shoulder. Getting out to see what I assumed was just a flat tire, I saw that 4 out of the 5 studs were sheared off and only 1 lug nut was holding the tire on. I called Discount and talked to Ian to tell them what happened since they were the last to touch my tires and they said to have the car towed to their shop. Upon getting the car there Berke, the manager, said they couldn't do anything about the studs and refused to help in any way or own up to the issue. They said they only guarantee things like this for 500 miles and since I had driven 1700 miles it wasn't their responsibility. Now it looks like I am paying out of pocket for a repair that seems to be from an issue on their end. My family and I won't be going back to Discount tire after them do tires on our entire fleet for the last 20+ years. Would highly recommend going with another tire shop.
